Concept of "JIHAD" in Islam
Jihad is in fact derived from the Arabic verb "Jahede" who’s
linguistic (lexical) meaning of stress, the investment of effort and struggle.
Jihad in Islam means an investment final effort to achieve Allah's pleasure.
Not surprisingly, the previous definition that includes struggle and fight for
the final form of investment of effort. In fact, when the term jihad is
mentioned in the Quran, in most cases meant a fight for Allah and the final
investment (physical) effort to raise Allah's word. Anyone who participates in
jihad is called a mujahid.
Jihad is a very important part of Islam. According to some scholars of
Jihad is bit to become the sixth basic Islamic principles. There is a
defensive Jihad and Jihad spread of Islam. Defensive Jihad is a basic
Jihad and it applies only in cases where the Muslim people attacked by the
enemy and then obligation of Muslims to resist and fight for the defense of
Islam. The second type of jihad is the spread of Islam and the liberation of
people from ignorance. Jihad with the help of Allah's conquered many parts of
the country and many people accepted Islam.
Jihad was waged not out of hatred toward non-Muslims but from the grace of God to spread the word of Allah and how people were saved accepting Islam. Jihad did not provide the massacres, Lighten, extermination, rape, forced Islamization and the rest, but he predicted the conquest of territory and the establishment of Islamic rule. Jihad means struggle and this struggle means perseverance and determination to stay in Islam. Sufis rely on this inner struggle jihad with himself so that they attach importance to his ascetic life. At the present time it is that many proclaimed jihad but do not fight the jihad.
Disadvantages are killing civilians, Muslim or non-Muslims, set the
bombs in mosques and churches, and what is the worst perform the suicide
attacks that have severely condemned by Muhammad s.a.w.s. for suicider is
forbidden to worship the funeral. Therefore, the Muslims must change the
methodology of the war and fought as they fought the first generation of
Muslims. Nobody torment die on the battlefield but it is terrible when
disadvantages civilians killed. It is a sin and sorrow. It is true that the
presence in Afghanistan by the military and that Muslims are obligated to
resist a foreign army. But not this way. In this way, both are the same.
Suicide is not a symbol of Islamic knight and it is unbecoming of a Muslim.
Islamic knight comes out on the battlefield face to face with the enemy, and
then shows his strength and courage. I think that war is so, surely it would be
a more effective struggle of suicidal actions.
